Print and ebooks from Rialto Marketplace
Selectors may require certain permissions in Alma before placing selections. A member from the Collections Support Unit will assist in creating the necessary ordering templates for both print and ebook selections. Templates assure the correct sub-account, fund, and location information is applied correctly to each selection.
Many publishers and aggregators offer ebooks in Rialto Marketplace, often with several license purchase options. Ebook access to titles ordered in Rialto Marketplace are available on the platform websites before being discoverable in Primo. Ebooks from other vendors and/or publishers
It may be possible to obtain ebooks not located in Rialto Marketplace. Please submit all such requests through the Acquisitions Order Request Form. If a academic licensing is available, and we do not currently have an active account for the resource provider, then vendor and licensing maintenance is necessary before access to the ebook can be made available.
